• Monday Week 2 Reminder: Monday 9th June is a Monday Week 2 and therefore school will finish at 2.15pm whilst our staff undertake training and development. School buses will depart at 2.25pm.

• Attendance: Reporting a student absence – please call the attendance line (and leave a voicemail) or use the MyEd app to send a text message. Please report students absent daily before 8.30am.

Medical appointments - With the updated guidance around ‘lates’ and ‘late arrivals’ after the registers closes, we would like to offer some advice around appointments during the school day.

- Where possible please schedule appointments outside of school hours,
- If arranging a morning appointment, it is suggested that your child attends school to gain their registration mark at 8.40am (and then signs out straight after this),
- If arranging an afternoon appointment, it is suggested that your child signs out after 12.45pm so they have gained their afternoon registration mark.

• Pupil Premium Uniform Order: Please note that the deadline for orders is Friday 3 July 2026. If you wish to purchase uniform from your child’s PP Educational Voucher for this academic year 2025-26, your order will need to be submitted via Pupil Premium Uniform Order on the school website before the deadline to ensure that items are received before the next academic year. Please contact the PP Team at ppteam@culchethhigh.org.uk or by telephone via the main school number and ask for the PP Team.

• Homework Club: Please be aware that Homework Club will be closed during PPE exam week on Tuesday 23rd June, Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June. It will reopen as usual on Tuesday 30th June.

• Year 7 Video Parents’ Evening: A-side on Thursday 11th June and B-side on Thursday 18th June. Bookings are well under way for both evenings. If you have not yet booked, please do not miss out. The invite letters were sent in a separate email from Carol Maudsley on Wednesday 14th May at 15.04 - please check your junk/spam mail. If you did not receive the login codes, then please contact Mrs Maudsley.

• Year 11 Parents – Exam Results App: A new service, launched by the DfE, allows students to be able to access their education record via their mobile phone. This service will not replace Exam Results Day, but will allow students to receive their results on the app at a set time after they have received their paper copy in school. More information about the significance of this, how it will operate, and how to download the app is detailed in a letter sent to Year 11 parents via email. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Lamble at school.

• Year 11 Locker Keys: During the exam season, students must store all their belongings in their lockers. Please ensure your student has their key. Replacement locker keys can be purchased via ParentPay for £5. All locker keys should be handed in at the end of their final exam. Mrs Maudsley will commence the task of emptying lockers and discarding contents w/c 13th July so students must ensure they clear out their lockers. The refund process will not start until September/October time. More details to follow, including an email home.

• Year 11 ParentPay: Notice to parents to please think about your Year 11 child’s lunch money balances. If they have a large balance to date, try not to add any further funds, so that the balance can be spent before they leave. If when they leave, there is a balance remaining on the ParentPay account you will need to request a refund before the students are taken off roll at the end of the academic year. If you do not request the balance, you are at risk of losing it. You can contact Mrs Maudsley.

Ski trip 2027
- Second deposits are now over-due. Can you please check on ParentPay that you have made your second deposit, and if not please do so as soon as possible.

Tuesday 9th June
- Year 10 Warrington Cup Semi-final vs Bridgewater at Bridgewater High School. 4pm kick-off, returning to school at approximately 6pm.

Thursday 11th June
- Year 9 Rugby Tournament at Sir Thomas Boteler. 3.45pm kick-off, returning to school at approximately 5.30pm.
