STEM Club
Culcheth High School has an established after-school ‘Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Club’ (STEM club) open to all students.
The main aim of the club is to provide extended learning opportunities in Science, Design Technology and Mathematics.
Club members undertake activities and projects to develop skills, knowledge and understanding in a creative and innovative way.
It is not a homework club and although members are not be formally assessed on their work there could be an opportunity to use their work to gain accreditation in a national award scheme (such as CREST awards) and enter regional and national competitions (such as the Sellafield Big Bang Competition) and to work towards achieving their CHS Leadership awards.
STEM Club runs Wednesday 3:15 - 4:00, for further details please see Mrs Andrews
