No Smoking Day is a national annual health awareness day which is intended to help smokers who want to quit smoking. Held this year on Thursday 9th March, CHS students were offered the opportunity to engage with our fantastic School Heath Team to gain more of an insight into the harmful effects of smoking, and investigate ways to get support for quitting via an interactive display.

The stand showcased examples of the numerous dangerous chemicals include in cigarettes and images of the damage done to
internal organs, and was supported by our school health advisers giving students detailed advice and guidance. Many thanks to the School Health Team for their support.

Anyone wanting further information or advice on how to quit should visit or access the support offered via LiveWire in the CHS reception.
