We are the Culcheth High School Eco-Committee and we work hard to try to make our school even more eco-friendly.

We meet every Thursday to discuss ways we can do this. So far we have covered things like;

‘Waste Week’ (making students think about recycling and re-using), ‘Switch-Off Fortnight’ (encouraging staff and students to turn the lights and computers off when not in use), improving school grounds by running a ‘Litter’ campaign, and running ‘Energy Month’.

We also meet up once per half term as a full committee with staff and governors to discuss our progress and make future plans.

If you would like to help us make a difference, please feel free to join us at our weekly meetings with Mrs Shaw in K012 every Thursday at the start of lunch.

Hope to see you there!
