Year 8 student, Jack Whitehead has been playing cricket since the age of six where he first represented Glazebury.

Jack was nine years old when he took his first wicket, against Lymm Cricket Club following a sustained period of practising to
improve his bowling skills. Jack was selected at aged nine to play for the under 13s. Jack eventually moved to Leigh Cricket Club in the search for regular game time and this move and hard work has clearly paid off as Jack received a trial to represent Wigan district which he successfully achieved.

Jack has since gone on to represent Wigan District, earning glowing reviews from his performance. A great achievement for
Jack and we wish him every success.
