World Book Day, once again, distributed millions of £1 book tokens to children. Most of you should have received your book token; all you need to do now is to take it to your local bookshop. In Culcheth, it is the ‘Forget-Me-Not Toy & Bookshop’ on Common Lane but there should be one in your local area. Swap the token for one of the ten, free ‘£1 World Book Day books’. Or, if you’d prefer, you can use your book token to get £1 off any full price book instead! And if you’d rather get an audio book, that’s fine too.

So that’s £1 off any book or audio book, it’s your choice, just as long as it would normally cost at least £2.99. Remember, your token is valid from 29th February -27th March ONLY, so get down to your local bookshop as soon as you can. Then take your book home and enjoy it!

World Book Day in the ILC

The ILC ran various activities on Thursday 3rd March to help celebrate World Book Day. We had a Bookmark competition, a Raffle, Fiction Bingo, a Quiz and a host of puzzles and games for students to complete. A lot of fun was had by all!
