Mahesh is Chair of Governors and currently has a son, Krishen in year 10.

He has been a school governor since 2004.

Having worked in community and national sports development for 30 years Mahesh is passionate about sport and its benefits.

Mahesh has always had a keen interest in the futures of young people and was:

  • A governor at Glazebury C of E Primary where he was also Chair for a few years.
  • Involved in scouting as a Cub Scout Leader and has developed and coached at numerous sports clubs for young people.

Currently he also works for Salford City Council where he clerks for and advises school governing bodies.

Recently Mahesh has completed a year’s training course on how to be a better Chair of Governors with the National Governors Association.
