Congratulations goes to Year 8 student, Lucy Mills, who has recently earned herself a coveted place on the GB Waterpolo Team following the try-outs in Cardiff in January!
Lucy has been swimming for the Tyldesley Club since aged 10, following in the footsteps of her father and cousin (who is a Team GB goalie), and will be playing in the pit or wing-defence position.

Lucy trains three nights per week at her club or at the Regional Training Centre in Liverpool, and one weekend per month with Team GB in Cardiff.
She will be playing against Hungary in April and eventually hopes to play for England and represent us at the Olympics in 2020. Watch this space! Well done Lucy!
