On 10th February 2015, and for the whole week, Culcheth High School fully supported the global initiative “Let’s create a better Internet”.

The day offered the opportunity to highlight positive uses of technology and to explore the role we all play in helping to create a better and safer online community. It called upon young people, parents, carers, teachers, social workers, law enforcement, companies, policymakers, and wider, to join together in helping to create a better internet. Ultimately, a better internet is up to us!

On the day, we ran a form-time assembly in the classrooms to explain the dangers and raise awareness of using the Internet safely. On our digital screens throughout school, we had informative e-safety videos and advice for all users of the Internet. Students the chance to complete some fun and helpful quizzes online to test their knowledge of online safety. The day was a great success and it highlights Culcheth High School’s continued e-safety development and awareness
