Three Year 9 students, Harry Jackson, Ethan Wilson and Ryan Cumming, recently had the opportunity to play Rugby in Lille, France.  Leigh Dragons U14s returned from Lille with silverware after taking part in the Pierre Delorme tournament in Lille, which included teams from the UK, France, Holland and Belgium. The boys helped bring home the tier two trophy and a 5th place overall ranking. Tane Bentley (Year 9) also plays for the team but didn’t go on this trip.

In addition to this, at Leigh RUFC Junior Section end of season presentation, Harry was presented with the ‘Club Colours’ pewter tankard for ‘Outstanding Services to Leigh RUFC Mini & Junior Section’ over the last six years. This is a real honour and the winner is chosen by the Mini and Junior committee each year for the individual who has shown exceptional attitude and commitment both on and off the pitch. Well done Harry!
