This year, we have had a record number of students attend netball training and represent the school as part of the various teams and squads, to the point where we have had to run an additional training night to accommodate all students and teams. Below is a breakdown of their results this season:

– Year 7 ‘A’ squad – played 8 won 8 – WARRINGTON CHAMPIONS
– Year 7 ‘B’ squad – played 8 won 2, drew 3, lost 3- finished in 4th place
– Year 8 ‘A’ squad – played 7 won 4, drew 2, lost 2- finished in 3rd place
– Year 8 ‘B’ squad – played 7 won 1, drew 3, lost 4- finished in 6th place- this squad was made up of mainly newcomers who had never played in a netball game before; with lots more practice they will perform better!
– Year 9 – played 6 won 6 – WARRINGTON CHAMPIONS

The next steps are now some additional friendly fixtures against Lymm and Bridgewater before Christmas followed by the Year 8s and 9s representing Culcheth High School in the Cheshire Schools League in March and finally our annual visit to Condover Hall in Shropshire for a weekend of netball games in May. Lots of hard work and training before then! We are very proud of the girls and how hard they have worked to achieve such high levels of success, they should also be very proud of themselves.
