On Wednesday 8th February Mrs Quicler, Mr Dugdale and Mrs Hill took a group of our High Performing Year 10 students to the National University Fair at the Etihad Stadium. Whilst there, students were able to visit stands and discuss university courses with representatives from universities across the UK and oversees.

Students sat in on talks delivered by university staff and alumni students about a wide range of issues including the application process, student life and finances. Most interesting was a talk delivered by Oxbridge students on how they found the process of applying to Oxbridge through to enrolling on their courses and eventually graduating.

It was great for our students to get an insight into university life and be inspired to make plans for their future education plans whilst there. We certainly look forward to making this an annual visit and tying it in with our wide variety of CEIAG activities across the school year.
