During Activities Week, in the MFL department, Year 7 created an acrostic in French or Spanish matching with the ethos of the
school, ‘Respect, Honesty and Excellence’. Students have completed some fantastic work and some of them won a prize
(Sophie Openshaw, Kim Grindley, Callum Bain, Ellie Atherton and Lily Moss).
Students enjoyed creating poster portraying the school motto in French and Spanish. Discovering and exploring new words in new languages explaining what our motto is all about at CHS. The standards that we set where we treat everybody with respect, we are honest and we strive to be excellent at everything we do.
