Well done to Jack Darbyshire, 7U, for his recent fundraising efforts.  He recently cycled 50 miles from Winwick to Knutsford and back again in memory of his dad.

He was part of a fundraising team who managed to raise around £4000. About 70 people took part in bike rides of varying lengths, and Jack was one of around 30 who completed the maximum distance. This year marks the fifth anniversary of his dad’s death and the bike ride is a yearly event.

Jack said that he struggled towards the end (especially on the hills), but was determined to continue and finish. When he got home he put the bike away and fell on the floor. He rewarded himself with lots of burgers! Well done Jack!
