During half term, a group of 50 Year 10 and Year 11 students took off to visit the land of fire and ice. On their visit to Iceland, students were able to experience the wonders of the island with visits to waterfalls, beaches, volcanoes and many other
sights around the capital Reykjavik.

Despite the weather being against us with Storm Doris battering Iceland on the Friday – bringing winds of 90 miles an hour and above – students had a fantastic time visiting Reykjavik’s attractions which made for an exciting day. The students also had plenty of opportunities to play in the heavy snow whilst eating some ice cream – the perfect combination!
