Culcheth High School would like to pass on congratulations to four ex-students who left us in 2014; Matthew Bibby, India Heywood, Andrew Briggs and Andrew Slattery on gaining offers of a place to study at Cambridge University starting September 2016. If successful, they will be studying Land Economy (Matthew Bibby), Natural Sciences (India Heywood and Andrew Briggs) and Mathematics (Andrew Slattery). It is not often that four students from the same state school are offered a place at such prestigious universities; a brilliant success for the students involved and for Culcheth High School.

Whilst at Culcheth High School, all students achieved well across a range of subjects as well as extra-curricular activities. Andrew Slattery, in particular, showed his great promise from an early age completing his GCSE Maths whilst in Year 9 and sitting his A Level Maths paper in Year 10. All four students are a shining example of the success our students go on to achieve. Having worked alongside all four students for their five years at Culcheth High School, all staff are extremely proud of their success, and not at all surprised!

We would like to wish all four the very best of luck in their A Level exams and hope they get the results needed to guarantee the places offered. We hope to be sharing their guaranteed places with you during the next academic year.
