Coming to Culcheth High School was a big change from being at primary school. The first day was very different from what the past had been like; it was quite frightening because of the size of the school. Going to a different room for every lesson was one of the main parts of the challenge.  What made it easier was the different colours of the building along the street.

There were a lot more people at the school than primary, which made it hard to get from one place to another because everyone was going different ways. The timing of the day was a big change, as we had two lessons before break, two lessons before lunch, and one after lunch. It was a large change; eventually we managed it. We’re glad we came here.
