Year 7 and 8 students took a step back in time in Maths during Activities Week where they were tasked with decrypting authentic messages sent during WWI. From Caesar Ciphers, Morse Code and using a German decryption handbook, students gained an insight into the painstaking work of Allied Codebreakers. In addition students created their own secret messages, together with instructions on how to convert them to plain text. In true secret agent style, the winning entry was unnamed. The search for the truth continues………
