The annual Science trip to Chester Zoo took place at the end of the summer term. Here are Krishen Chadwick-Patel’s memories from the trip.
When we got to the zoo we split into groups and went to see the animals. We saw many animals such as elephants, orangutans, meerkats and rhinos. We went in to the shop and we were able to buy little souvenirs. My favourite bit of the zoo was the bat cave, the bats flew right over your head and it was very dark. One of the things I learnt on the trip was that zoos are very important in ensuring that certain animals don’t become extinct. The trip was great fun and I would recommend it to others.
