The level of advice and guidance provided to our students, to help with their decision-making for life after Culcheth High School, continues to improve. With higher education application deadlines looming, students are encouraged to ensure they have applied to their chosen college(s) sooner rather than later. Appointments are still available with Mrs Morris on Wednesday and Thursday in C104.
As part of the work we are completing, Interserve, an Apprenticeship support company, attended school on Wednesday 20th January to complete a workshop with students interested in taking up an apprenticeship after their GCSE studies. The day saw students learn all about the application process, what apprenticeships involve and what a generic apprenticeship will require from them. This session will feed into a mock interview day for the students to enable them to build a high level of interview skills and techniques. Further information on this will be shared shortly.
