Four days and 66 kilometres; 30 students took to the streets of London to view everything business, media and computing-related.  Students visited The Science Museum, The Crystal Building, The Bank of England, The Royal Courts of Justice and The Old Bailey, accompanied with a guided tour by a former Fleet Street editor. A particular highlight of the trip was The Harry Potter Studios Tour, not to mention visits to London’s iconic attractions including the controversial 10 Downing Street, markets and a cruise down the world famous River Thames. The British weather only let us down once over the four days, ironically when sat outside on the Thames ferry.

Students took part in various educational activities to win prizes throughout the trip and became experts at the famous (hot and cramped) London underground system.

Staff and students had a fantastic time with high praise summed up in one student’s comment “I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, we visited everything, and more, in London!”.
