As a member of the Air Cadets 70 Squadron in Croft, my passion for aviation has taken me to new heights. Whilst flying at Barton Aerodrome, a few miles away from school, I was recently given the chance to explore the local area from the air.
My love for photography alongside this has enabled me to capture these unique angles of certain places in the local area. On one particular flight, as we took off towards Liverpool, I was able to fly directly over Culcheth; the school building stands out greatly in the village. I thought that capturing images from the air would be a great addition to the school’s photo archive, something that they will hopefully be able to look back on in years to come.
In the future, I hope to complete my pilots’ licence and then continue my career in to the Royal Air Force.
