People in school are no strangers to Amelia’s amazing vocal talents, having sung in Christmas and summer assemblies, Mamma Mia and previously winning Culcheth High School’s version of ‘The Voice’.

She has recently performed on a much bigger stage with hundreds in the audience, including stars of Coronation Street and Hollyoaks. Amelia even shared the stage with legend Toni Christie, 80’s band ‘Katrina and the Waves’ and boyband ‘Rixton’! The talented teen won a standing ovation from the crowd after an emotional performance of ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’.

Following on from her amazing performance, she was approached by some famous singers and was given some fantastic comments and feedback. Jesy Nelson from ‘Little Mix’ and Jake Roche from ‘Rixton’ both complimented her, calling her ‘awesome’ and Coronation Street cast member and former pop star Kym Marsh said that she was a better singer than her!

Her performances have all been in aid of a charity called Once Upon a Smile, which Amelia is helping to raise funds for – a fantastic organisation which provides support to families after the loss of a loved one.

Well done on this fantastic achievement Amelia – what a wonderful ambassador for the charity and Culcheth High School.
